The BESCON contact lenses life span are 3 months every day use.

Before handling your lenses

• Wash, rinse and dry your hands thoroughly.
• Check the integrity of the contact lenses. If there is any damage to the contact lens, discard it and use a new one.
• Let the eye care professional or registered optometrist check your eyes carefully.

Inserting your lenses

• To avoid the possibility of mix-ups always, begin with the same lens
• Place the lens on the tip of the index finger of your dominant hand.
• Using the middle finger of your other hand, pull and hold your upper eyelid firmly open so you cannot blink.
• Pull down your lower eyelid using the middle finger of your inserting hand.
• Look ahead and place the lens gently on the lower white part of your eye, or look ahead and place the lens directly on the cornea.
• Look down to position the lens correctly.
• Slowly release the eyelid and close your eyes for a moment
• After moving your eyeball several times, the lens will centre automatically
• Insert the other lens using the same procedure.

Removing your lenses

• Wash, rinse and dry your hands thoroughly.
• Make sure your lenses are centred,
• Open your eyelids with the middle fingers of both your hands.
• Using the tip of your index finger of your dominant hand, pull the lens down and slide it to the lower white part of the eye.
• Gently squeeze the lens between the index finger end the thumb, remove it from your eye.
• Remove the other lens using the same procedure.

Lens Care Cleaning

• It is essential that you purchase a multi-purpose contact lens solution.
• You must not use water to clean or store you lenses.
• Place the lens in the palm of your non-dominant palm and pour some fresh eye solution in the palm of your hand.
• Rub each side of the lens (20 seconds) with the forefinger.
• Thoroughly rinse each side with more of the eye Solution

CAUTIONS

• To maintain the health of your eyes and extend the life of your contact tenses, remove the lenses before sleeping bathing and swimming
• Use the specialised contact lenses care solution, which you can purchase at any chemist.
• Protect the contact lenses from chemicals such as cosmetic fixture etc.
• Wear the contact lenses before applying make up and remove before removing makeup.
• Avoid applying any eye drops or ointment when wearing contact lenses
• Clean the lens case weekly.
• When encountering eye discomfort, remove the contact lenses immediately and go to your eye care professional for advise.
